Come to a new book signing by Dean Thompson, former president, Louisville Theological Seminary, and Cam Murchison, former executive vice president and dean, Columbia Theological Seminary, on "Mentoring." Brief comments followed by reception and signing. Free. Refreshments. Their book – Mentoring: Biblical, Theological & Practical Perspectives – will be available for $20 a copy at the book signing, instead of its normal price of $30.

Hymns That Changed Their Tunes.

Held at the Presbyterian Heritage Center, this special Montret Hymn Sing will be led by Eric Wall, Montreat summer musician and Austin Theological Seminary professor. Refreshments. Come learn about and sing original, and unfamiliar, tunes to some of "God's Greatest Hits."

Montreat, Mysteries and Memorabilia.

Held in Upper Anderson Auditorium, the opening of the 2018 Montreat Adult Summer Club will feature a multimedia presentation and talk about little known Montreat history snd mysteries. You also will see never-seen rarities from the Presbyterian Heritage Center, which is completing its first decade of operation. Refreshments.

National Conference on Christian Heritage Education

An online and onsite conference will bring together Christian educators, church historians, church archivists and pastors to explore state-of-the-art practices and innovative ways to use church history and heritage to reach and energize today's and tomorrow's generations. General sessions and breakout workshops, plus take-home materials (DVDs, printed and online) will make this a must attend conference.
