Research Library

The Presbyterian Heritage Center at Montreat provides a basic reference library of over 35,000 volumes with special archival materials in Spence Hall, at the intersection of Assembly Drive and Georgia Terrace. The library includes:

  • Printed Records of the Presbyterian Church and Minutes of the General Assembly, from 1706
  • Rare denominational & other periodicals
  • Reference books into Presbyterian history
  • And much more!


Online Access to Books, Documents & Maps

The PHC Library also plans to provide digital computer access to many original documents, either through libraries around the country or through our own digitizing efforts.
