She holds an M.F.A. in Fiction from Columbia University and currently teaches in the Writing Program at Rutgers University. Her fiction, non-fiction and Russian poetry translations have appeared in literary journals such as Drafthorse, Interim, Northwest Review, Philadelphia Stories, the Vassar Review, and others. She has won numerous prizes for her fiction, and her stories have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and inclusion in the Best American Short Stories Anthology.\n
